Edwin Sumun

Edwin Sumun is a renowned actor, creative director and the founder of Sumunda. After studying, acting and winning awards in Germany and the USA, he returned to Malaysia where he became very involved in the local entertainment scene and was dubbed the “next big thing in theatre”. Edwin Sumun has become well-known in Malaysia and the region for his critically acclaimed works in theatre, films, television programs and commercials.

Chris Ng

For the past 10 years, Chris Ng has volunteered for various NGOs working on empowerment, development and educational programmes for children and youth. He encourages and educates youth about HIV/AIDS through their participation in theatre arts. He has been awarded by the United Nations (Malaysia) Award 2003 and Daimler Chrysler Red Ribbon Media Award 2004 for his outstanding and creative works in educating youth on HIV/AIDS using theatre and drama as mediums.

Guna

Guna is an award winning dancer and choreographer who specializes in Indian Classical (South Indian and Odissi) and Contemporary Dance. He has won the Boh Cameronian Award for Best Solo Performer and will be performing in Carnegie Hall in New York this autumn.

Mia Palencia

A woman with many talents, Mia Palencia is a singer songwriter, jazz crooner, voice actor, public speaker and occasionally a theatre personality. She began her career at the tender age of 14 as the other half of well-known local jazz act Double Take with whom she has released two albums. Her talents have taken her around the world; she has sung for kings, been a public speaker and vocalist and most recently, a voice actor for cartoons.

Asyraf Lee

Asyraf Lee, at 20 years of age, is probably the youngest professional photographer in Malaysia who specialises in portraiture. A son of Ivy League teachers, Asyraf was on his way to becoming an Electrical Engineer when he discovered his passion for photography. Asyraf’s numerous clients range from celebrities to large corporations.
